Cutest Pillow Ever

Yep.  I love it.

Using up more of my Lecien Antique Flowers scraps.

I found the pattern for the kittens on a blog called doe c doe.  It doesn't look like she's posted in quite a while but you can still find a lot of neat vintage embroidery patterns there.

My embroidery skills are not the greatest but I think it still turned out fantastically adorable.  I picked floss from my stash that coordinated with the fabric.

I added the lace trim at the last minute and I think it was the perfect touch.

I mean what more could you want kittens, mittens, patchwork, and lace trim.

  7. I don't have any standard method for downloading. Sometimes the website or blog will provide a pdf and then I just print from adobe. Other times I just right click on the image and copy & paste it into word and then print from there. Once the image is printed I center it underneath my fabric and then lightly trace with a pencil. Usually I use a white cotton so it is easy to see but sometimes I have to hold it up to the window if the fabric is thicker. I am sure this isn't the only way to do it but it is easy and inexpensive way for me.
