Cutest Pillow Ever
Yep. I love it.
Using up more of my Lecien Antique Flowers scraps.
I found the pattern for the kittens on a blog called doe c doe. It doesn't look like she's posted in quite a while but you can still find a lot of neat vintage embroidery patterns there.
My embroidery skills are not the greatest but I think it still turned out fantastically adorable. I picked floss from my stash that coordinated with the fabric.
I added the lace trim at the last minute and I think it was the perfect touch.
I mean what more could you want kittens, mittens, patchwork, and lace trim.

Deleteit really is beautiful! Can you explain to me how you downloaded and transferred the pattern?
ReplyDeleteI don't have any standard method for downloading. Sometimes the website or blog will provide a pdf and then I just print from adobe. Other times I just right click on the image and copy & paste it into word and then print from there. Once the image is printed I center it underneath my fabric and then lightly trace with a pencil. Usually I use a white cotton so it is easy to see but sometimes I have to hold it up to the window if the fabric is thicker. I am sure this isn't the only way to do it but it is easy and inexpensive way for me.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I will give it a try!
